Great updated modern house and convenient location just minutes from the beach and lake. We found a nice family friendly beach nearby. Hot tub was nice and big. Kitchen, cookware and cooking utensils were high quality, unlike most Tahoe rentals and appreciated since we cooked every meal at the house. Kid-friendly with a built-in playroom stocked with toys.

It would have been nice to have more basic necessities like toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent though. We only had one roll of paper towel and there was no detergent but it was nice that they dropped some off. In my experience some rentals provide these amenities.

Lastly, with Airbnb’s COVID-19 guidelines we were surprised to find out that the next guests were checking in the same day we were checking out since we were told there would be at least 24 hours between guests; Airbnb recommends 3 days.

Overall it was a lovely stay for two families with young children. You can’t beat the location.

The view from this home is absolutely amazing! The sun rises were beautiful and the deck view is shaded in the afternoon, a big plus during the summer. Also a well stocked kitchen and room for everyone to gather comfortably. If you are there during the summer, be sure to close the blinds toward the lake during early morning. The sun can really heat things up inside fast.

I stayed at this cabin with a group of 7 and we couldn't have asked for anything else really. Waking up to the view everyday was fantastic and we really didn't need a reason to leave. The host was very responsive if we had any issues/questions.

This is a gorgeous place comes with lots of character! The wood work across the home is very stylish! The living space is large enough to accommodate a big group! The kitchen was beautiful connecting to deck which enables us to enjoy a few meals on deck lookin at beautiful pine trees!
The home location on the hill made every drive spectacular! Location was closer to great restaurants and shopping areas and of course amazing hikes!
All bedrooms had big beds and tons of storage!! Bathrooms were clean and had all necessities well stocked!

Overall we had a wonderful getaway from our busy lives to enjoy the serenity of this home and beautiful Tahoe! Super family friendly and highly recommended!!

This home is equipped with absolutely everything you can ever need, it is perfect for a family with little ones or a group of friends. The cleanliness is unmatched the communication is one of the fastest this house exceeded our expectations and made our vacation that much more memorable. You absolutely get what you pay for and much much more .

We had such a great stay! The hot tub was such a great way to end the day after doing all the Tahoe outdoor activities! Great location to enjoy bike riding, beaches, rope climbing, rafting, and jet skiing (we did them all) and at the end of the day, relaxed in the hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen was great, and parking was so close to the front door. If you stay here, we recommend visiting the nearby bakery for coffee and cinnamon rolls! Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great house and host. The view is a georgeous "foreground and background" one where you can watch nearby boats and water as well as distant peaks. We were very comfortable in the house and the setting/location felt both secluded and set back from the crowds but still with easy access to things. Tamara provided us with great trailheads/maps info and grocery shopping info which made for wonderful hikes. Dinners on the deck overlooking the water were wonderful.

A very lovely home with an amazing kitchen and a two car garage with a great Mud Room for your shoes, boots, and jackets after a day in the snow! The house is just down the street from an amazing back-country forest area for sledding, snow shoeing or cross country skiing. It snowed while we were there and the street was plowed really early in the AM, so easy to get in and out for skiing. Only note of caution: The forth bedroom is rather small and has a trundle bed with the extra mattress on the floor, you will def. not want adults to plan to use this room.

This is a beautiful home with very tastefully done design. The house was impeccably clean and the photos all accurate. The hot tub was very clean, and the beds comfy. Really cool projection TV for a cinema experience! And a great access to the lake just down on the main road! We will absolutely be back!! Thank you!!

This is a great place! We stayed for one week with four adults, a three year old, and a small dog. The highlights: the view in the main room is just as gorgeous as the pictures, the house had plenty of space for all of us to spread out when we wanted, the kitchen is well appointed (we cooked for a full week from home and had everything we needed), and the furniture in the great room is top of the line - the couches were very comfy and perfect for lounging and looking at the trees. Things to know: the bathrooms and kitchen appliances are older with a retro feel, but everything worked great, and the beds are on the firmer side. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

A quiet place with beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. My family had a great time. The common area and bed rooms were well prepared for comfortable stay. We had to struggle to get out of the drive way on our second day after a winter storm - our cars were not 4 wheel drive. Tamara had someone to come quickly to help after we contacted her which we appreciated very much. Overall, we are very happy with our stay.

The space looked exactly as indicated on the listing. Nice and spacious (especially the master). Loved that there are 3 bathrooms. Nice fireplace but bring wood. Host was friendly and very responsive. Would love to check this place out during the summer. If coming during the winter months getting to palisades resort or alpine meadows is a nice short ride. Would definitely book again.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb’s we have stayed in the Carnelian Bay area!! The house was super clean, cozy and very well fitted with the latest amenities to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with good quality supplies/utensils, beds were very comfortable and the firewood was well stocked for those chilly nights. We worked remotely from here for a week, the office space and fast WiFi worked really well. Also we really enjoyed walking to the beach and coffee shop every morning, followed by an evening session in the hot tub, cant ask for more!

If you have a pup, look no further. Unlike other beat up dog friendly cabins, this place was spotless and actually quite luxurious for the price. There were a lot of dog friendly touches too that made it fun for our dog too.

This place’s location provides maximum level of comfort and convenience for those who want to be near the lake, hiking trails and grocery stores without sacrificing peace and quiet. The apartment is spacious with a good view. I loved the old fashioned skis used as decoration touches. The house can technically fit 6 people but we went as a couple in mid June and it was just right. The height of the building allows the view of the lake and just enough sunlight for a luxurious feel that can only be bought at a high end resort.

One of the best and coziest cabins! Secluded enough to feel like you’re in a winter wonderland but actually really close to town and both Northstar and Squaw. The decor was so festive and cute for the holidays and the home was filled with anything you might need during your stay. Water was hot and the heat was powerful. Couch was super comfortable and the hot tub was large and not too far from the backyard door!

It was an good overall stay. Great place for the price for the place. One thing to note is this place is managed by an agency and hence this has both pros and cons. I was able to get some bathroom issues fixed asap. Great service, but then during off hours I needed urgent help and didn’t receive any response for a long time.
Overall the place is large and spacious and definitely worth the snowfall in Tahoe.

A beautiful home with everything incredibly clean, organized, and in great condition. We had no problems or confusion as the home notes were very clear and available both digitally and in a binder, all amenities functioned without issue. The space was perfect for relaxing skiers, and the hot tub was sublime. Thanks for the great stay!

This view from this Carnelian Bay cabin is just as beautiful as it appears, and the carpet and furnishings within are more newly renovated than they appear! The place and the towels and linens were very clean, and with the lockbox there were zero hassles logistically. Hope to come again soon!

I am very satisfied with this accommodation and I will come here again if I have the chance. The room is clean and well equipped. What I like most is the living room and the large terrace, which has a great view. Safeway is nearby, making it easy to shop for food and groceries.

The house is well-appointed, with pretty much everything you could want for a cozy winter stay. It's a classic, older Tahoe cabin with lots of thoughtful touches (like a wood burning stove that's ready-to-go and plenty of kitchen necessities for a family that wants to eat in). Beautiful views of the lake, a short drive to Northstar and an even shorter drive to Kings Beach stores made it a pleasant and practical location. Thanks!

This place is beautiful! From the details of the home to the location and the views. My boyfriend and I stayed just the two of us for a relaxing get away. And relaxed we did. Loved the private hot tub, the projection screen TV and the fully stocked kitchen. I have to note the water pressure rain shower made it hard to get out. We definitely will be back in the winter months with a group to enjoy some snowboarding.

This Tahoe rental is completely as described! The hot tub is surely the crowning jewel of the accommodations; sparkling clean and perfectly situated under the stars. We loved spending our evenings cooking on the grill and then having a soak. The kitchen is very well appointed with all the necessary gadgets, utensils and cooking ware. I enjoyed cooking in that kitchen! Super comfy living space, nice TV and accoutrements, solid wi-fi, plenty of space for lounging around. Lots of storage room for luggage, very nice bathrooms, and the king bed was surprisingly fantastic! Our backs feel perfectly fine. 🙂 The location was about center between King's Beach and Tahoe City, so it was a great location for our purposes. Our doggy enjoyed his stay too, it's a great neighborhood for long, meandering walks.

Great location. Super peaceful with gorgeous views in the woods. Beach is about a 5 minute drive but is beautiful to go there during sunset. Loved the neighborhood deli and grabbing breakfast and deli there most days. Clean, well maintained. Great place to work remotely since that is exactly what we did. We also had our kid doing remote zoom classes so the wireless access is top notch

I had an amazing time here, it was my second time here and was even better than last time. They recently got new furniture and carpets so it felt like being in a brand new airbnb. We had a great stay at this lovely home. I have a mobility issue so I spent the most time hanging out in the house while the rest of the family enjoyed sledding and hot tubbing. Lot's of gadgets in the kitchen, lovely fireplace and a super comfy sofa. The decor is nice, striking a balance between homey comforts and contemporary cabin chic. The dog jumped in the car and wouldn't get out, so we had to bring her. The home is very dog friendly with dishes and a bed already set up! A good time was had by all!

My experience was great! I booked this property for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family. There were a total of 7 adults and there was plenty of space. The check-in process was easy, the house was clean, all the instructions were easy to follow. The views were amazing. Overall everyone enjoyed their time. One thing to be aware of is there are alot of stairs. It may be difficult for someone who has physical limitations.

Spacious and comfortable for our family vacation. The furnishings and appliances are a bit dated, but the size, layout and location of the house more than made up for that. Steep road to get to the house - winter vacationers would be wise to take seriously the notes about all-wheel vehicles or chains. Easy access to the (gorgeous) hiking in Page Meadows and the lovely private beach.

The house is in a great location close to both Tahoe City and Kings Beach but also in a quiet serene neighborhood with fantastic views of Lake Tahoe.
Everything you need is stocked and the house was very clean and in great decorative order. It felt like a home away from home which is exactly what I wanted for a short stay in Tahoe

We had a perfect stay. The place is the most stocked we have experienced 🙂 record selection was great as well for evening cocktails by the fire. Our pups had plenty of room inside, the neighborhood is nice for walks and the neighbors were all very friendly that we ran into while out on a stroll. The master bed is very comfy — we had a restful and relaxing time.

A fantastic place with stunning views of Last Tahoe. Wake up to sunrise views from the living room. Large living/dining area with high ceilings and panoramic doors to patio. Very pet friendly (dog leashes with bags, bowls, towels, beds). Just 15-20 mins to Squaw/Alpine and other nearby resorts and close to restaurants/shops in Tahoe City.

Our party of 7 had a great time in this house. The house, even though the decor is a bit outdated, everything is clean and very well maintained. The layout of the house is great for 3-4 families. The spacious garage is definitely a plus in the cold winter season. The host was available to answer our questions before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at this cabin in Carnelian Bay, it was tucked away in the trees a bit but still close to local restaurants, Safeway, etc. It has a great cabin feel and is well-suited for kids. We will definitely stay here again and are already looking forward to our next trip!

The place is beautiful, clean, and sports a very impressive view of the lake. We had a great time skiing, cooking, relaxing and staring out the huge windows at the view. Tamara made sure that we could check in alright and was very accommodating to a slight schedule adjustment. We were able to park the two cars without any trouble, too. I'd definitely recommend her place if you're looking to spend a weekend in Tahoe!

Great place for our family to stay including 3 kids and our dog. They provided everything you need at this house and convenient to squaw and alpine meadows. The house even had a dog bed, water and food bowls, and a towel for our dog which was a nice surprise. Restaurants and the grocery store is a short drive away.

We loved our time staying on Chapel Lane. The location is ideal--a short drive from great beaches (we especially liked the one at Meeks Bay) and good places to eat (3 minutes from the wonderful Spoon and Fire Sign Cafe). The house is spacious and very comfortable and I really appreciated all the supplies in the kitchen--this is one place where you don't have to bring your own sharp knife, olive oil, or spices. The whole house is beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped for guests. It didn't affect us much because we like to research the places we stay, but it might have been helpful to provide a bit of information about attractions and services in the area and especially good points for lake access, since the house doesn't have its own pier or beach. There are plenty of great beaches nearby, some with free parking, but it took a few tries and some driving before we found the right ones for us.

We enjoyed a fantastic 4 night stay at this lake view home. It is perfectly clean and superbly equipped, making it very easy to settle in. You never tire of the stunning view whether it’s via the open plan living room or the spacious balcony. Communication with Tahoe Rental was excellent, prior and during our stay.

The place is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and is very homey. The location is perfect for a quiet night in or to explore all Lake Tahoe has to offer. The rooms were all of great size and were very comfortable. The property has a lot of fun surprises that make it ideal for spending time family and friends. Kitchen was well-stocked with essentials. Would definitely recommend for a big group coming to Tahoe.

The house was perfect, exactly as advertised. One thing that was unexpected was how close it was to shops and restaurants, easily walking distance which was a huge help for us. Great location close to ski areas, casinos, and the Truckee Airport. Kitchen was well equipped and there were even a few leftovers like tea and sugar and some condiments which was helpful. Bathrooms had shampoo and soap provided, it really was a great Turn-Key rental experience. I would definitely say here again.

The view from the balcony is great. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook a meal. There is a spiral staircase leading to the main living space and kitchen, so expect to haul your groceries and luggage up if you’re not one of the people sleeping in a room downstairs. Surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. A great getaway.

We recently stayed at the cabin and could not have been happier with the accommodations. Most importantly, the home was just as described and as the photos represented.

The place was clean and everything worked. They had the house prepped for our arrival, hot tub was on (but was not up to temperature yet unfortunately, as our kids went in and quickly came out), firewood available, clear instructions, etc.

There was lots of snow and they had timely snow removal/shoveling.

It’s a little bit hard to find if you don’t have great connection when you arrive. Super easy to check in, nice place, all amenities nice and fully functioning. Don’t set the room temperature too high or else you’d wake up in the middle of the night.

Nice cul-de-sac place which is quiet and at the same time close by to many activities. The house was clean and a little work will enhance the house much more. The home AC situation is noted on few of the reviews. Basicall,y it is not balanced and the downstairs gets cold. Will need frequent adjustments to the thermostat and topic of discussion for setting it appropriate for all locations. Overall a good place with clear instructions that is helpful.

This location is perfect as it’s almost halfway between Tahoe City and Tahoe Vista. The A-frame house has a spectacular view of the lake and felt very private as it was up on a hill and the property extended far below. The kitchen was very well stocked and the layout was great. All in all a great stay.

This was our second trip to this property. The view from this house is just awesome! Just minutes from great skiing. Close to groceries and lots of restaurants. The house has very vintage amenities, which only adds to the charm of it. Very quiet neighborhood. We would recommend to anyone. We of course will go back again, we just love it!

This house was great- very clean, good beds, tons of space for 6 adults, lake access, solid wifi. The pillows, blankets and towels were fabulous. There was high end soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. The showers were just ok and the decor was a little dated (the pictures are accurate), but everything worked perfectly and the kitchen amenities were good. We would stay here again.

We loved staying at this home!! The bedroom configuration worked out perfect for our family!! The home was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We cooked our own meals and the kitchen had everything we needed for the nine of us (5 adults and 4 kids). We also really enjoyed the private beach and the facilities offered there. Have rented a number of places this winter in Tahoe. This place is charming with its older decor and quite clean. The heating worked great and evenly, which can be hit or miss in Tahoe rentals. Wish the upstairs bed was a queen instead of full and the placement of things in the kitchen area took a bit of adjusting but would rent again.

The home was amazing. It was super clean. They had an amazing plan for their visitors. Key was easy to find and the private beach too. They had beach chairs for the family. A lot of towels, good shampoo, loved the hemp hand soap. We took our food so the pots, pans, bbq grill, panty with spices in it, and beautiful and spacious kitchen, was an amazing touch.
You can tell that the owner has everything well thought out for their visitors. I would highly recommend this home beyond measure. Plenty of space for a big family. Clean sheets. Spacious washer and dryer and they even provided detergent. Thank you for your hospitality, as this was my family’s and I first time in Tahoe and it was definitely a memorable one, not just for me as our family is an outdoor family, but the kids fell in love with the comfort of the home and the backyard. We will be coming back before the end of the year.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb - we enjoyed all the great amenities including the hot tub and barbecue grill on the deck during our stay. The space is very clean and is a great value given its location on the north shore. Highly recommend to anyone, especially those with four-legged guests as we found the space to be very pet friendly!

This place is great! Everything was clean and neatly set up for our arrival. The hosts were very quick at responding to any questions and requests. The place is in a community that has a pool and other shared amenities which gave us a place to go to when we didn’t want to go to the lake. There is a beach about a 8 minute walk which was really convenient. This place overall is charming and amazing

This place was amazing!!! I stayed with a group of 6 people and we had plenty of space. It was close to Kong’s beach, restaurants, and food store. Also close to kayak, paddle board, jet ski and boat rentals. The area has everything you need. The house was lovely and the deck has gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. It was perfect for our time there, and I would definitely come back. I highly recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to Lake Tahoe!!

One of the best places we have stayed at in Tahoe. The view is breathtaking, the kitchen well stocked, and the response very fast.
We thought the main light was broken and someone came by very fast to have a look at it (it turned out we missed that there was a dimmer….).

Everything is great. Although we didn’t use the washer dryer, it seems to be a great addon. There is a lot of access to everything in town super close by. Just be careful about the steep hill to enter the neighborhood. As mentioned in the add it may be tough to climb in the winter months, but in the warmer times (late march - oct) it seems to be completely fine. As for the house the downstairs or the ‘basement’ // first floor it will begin very very cold, however the heating system makes it nice and cozy very fast. With that being said the. House is well insulated so the heat will stay in the house, thus making the sleeping conditions very warm if you leave the heater on.

The place itself was clean, comfortable and convenient. We felt very much like at home. The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Pretty much everything was great.

The view was stunning - sitting out in the deck for breakfast as the sun came up was a highlight. As was watching the sunset while grilling.

Overall highly recommend!

The cabin is cozy, clean and has all the amenities that you'll need during your stay. The view from the window was gorgeous. The entire space is way better than what the picture represents. We like to sit in front of the fireplace while soaking in the lake view. It was very relaxing. We highly recommend this place.

We stayed there during MLK long weekend ski trip, its really close to squaw valley/alpine and 25 min drive to northstar ski resorts. Our host was amazing, we asked for 11 am late checkout as we wanted to have breakfast at cabin before heading out and she accommodated us. Its perfect for 2 couples and two kids, there is also a sofa bed in living room, if willing to sleep on sofa bed, then would be ok for 3 couples and 2 kids or two adults. We enjoyed our stay there and we will go back again!

This is a really charming, spacious cabin with amazing views that looks quite like the pictures but is nicer in real life. The location is ideal to explore all the northern parts of Tahoe but we still got down to emerald bay in 30 mins. The place is fully equipped with everything from kitchen ware to games. Very good value, we’d stay again and hopefully will.

The cabin needs a little updating to kitchen and bathrooms but has charm. It was nothing fancy but it was just what we needed and wanted for our Christmas and New Year holiday.

We had excellent communication about the storm as well as any needs we expressed including trash pick-up.

This is a great little place. The outdoor sitting areas are lovely and inviting, the hot tub clean, the kitchen well stocked for all cooking needs. The location was beyond perfect for our family. We walked to the beach (easy walk), walked the hiking trail at the end of Agate making an about 2.5 mile walk (could make it more), great walking neighborhood, quiet, comfortable beds, and a location for site seeing that was easy and perfect for us. There are three restaurants you can walk to, kayaks and boards to rent at the local beach, walk to a 7-11 if needed, and the beach is one of the best dog beaches in tahoe. It was perfect for us and our pup. Close to King beach and Tahoe city shopping, close enough to get take out. Really loved sitting on the front a back porch in the morning.

The staff was easy to access and completely responsive. Check in and check out a breeze. Was a bit hot in the afternoon and evening when we were there (over 80 outside) and tough to cool down. (I understand most places in tahoe have no air cond). Learned to keep the sleeping room doors closed, and this made the sleeping rooms cool enough to sleep. Left the front door open, sliders open, and fans on to make it work.

Really glad we stayed here. Family of 4 (two tween/teen kids) and pup.
