Have rented a number of places this winter in Tahoe. This place is charming with its older decor and quite clean. The heating worked great and evenly, which can be hit or miss in Tahoe rentals. Wish the upstairs bed was a queen instead of full and the placement of things in the kitchen area took a bit of adjusting but would rent again.

This is a gorgeous place comes with lots of character! The wood work across the home is very stylish! The living space is large enough to accommodate a big group! The kitchen was beautiful connecting to deck which enables us to enjoy a few meals on deck lookin at beautiful pine trees!
The home location on the hill made every drive spectacular! Location was closer to great restaurants and shopping areas and of course amazing hikes!
All bedrooms had big beds and tons of storage!! Bathrooms were clean and had all necessities well stocked!

Overall we had a wonderful getaway from our busy lives to enjoy the serenity of this home and beautiful Tahoe! Super family friendly and highly recommended!!

This place was perfect for our summer family getaway! It was big enough to accommodate the 6 of us - 4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. The kitchen and the bathrooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The interior seemed to be recently renovated, yet it still had that rustic homey cabin-in-the-woods feel to it. Very kids friendly with a large family room, large deck, board games, and books. The host even provided amenities for my dog - a dog bed, dog bowls, a dog towel and toys. That's what was so great about this place - the small touches that made us feel at home. The bedrooms stayed cool even during high afternoon temperatures. The hot tub outside was the best things after a day of hiking. The location was also perfect. A short drive from the Carnelian Bay beach, mini golf, Tahoe City, and Kings Beach. The beach was never too crowded and the parking was always available (unlike in Kings Beach and Tahoe City).
I will definitely try to book this place again for our next family trip to Tahoe!

Home is as pictured, located in the highlands on the West Shore with good views. Perfect for access to resorts on NW coast of lake in winter, and lake fun in the summer. Spacious kitchen, two decks, plenty of room for a large family to spread out, W/D and all amenities on the premises. No hot tub. Great low traffic neighborhood to walk the dog in.

Fantastic house for a trip to Tahoe.
We spent the weekend here with a few friends and the house was the perfect spot. Well located and has all the conveniences you need plus a hot tub. Communication and check in was seamless. We had a great stay and would definitely return!

This view from this Carnelian Bay cabin is just as beautiful as it appears, and the carpet and furnishings within are more newly renovated than they appear! The place and the towels and linens were very clean, and with the lockbox there were zero hassles logistically. Hope to come again soon!

A cozy, warm getaway close to the lake. Amazing views, big balcony with grill, tons of games, fireplace and well stocked kitchen. Note the house if across the street from the lake, up on the hill. Quick drive to Safeway and restaurants in Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Would definitely stay here again!

This place’s location provides maximum level of comfort and convenience for those who want to be near the lake, hiking trails and grocery stores without sacrificing peace and quiet. The apartment is spacious with a good view. I loved the old fashioned skis used as decoration touches. The house can technically fit 6 people but we went as a couple in mid June and it was just right. The height of the building allows the view of the lake and just enough sunlight for a luxurious feel that can only be bought at a high end resort.

Local was super sweet and professional throughout this entire process. Every time I had a question, Local would respond to me very fast. The house looks exactly like the photos, and there were lots of extra heaters for everyone to use. The fireplace was a nice touch, especially during winter time. I will definitely recommend this house to my friends/family who are planning to stay up north in Lake Tahoe. I had a wonderful time out there with my family, and I can’t wait to be back there again.

This is a great place to stay in Tahoe. Large, well upgraded (we loved the kitchen), good location, easy check-in process, nice yard. My only complaints is that it was a bit on the expensive side and we have an issue with the heating (but the property management company stepped up and handled it nicely for us).

The place itself was clean, comfortable and convenient. We felt very much like at home. The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Pretty much everything was great.

The view was stunning - sitting out in the deck for breakfast as the sun came up was a highlight. As was watching the sunset while grilling.

The cabin was so nice and cozy! We had an awesome time there and the pictures do no justice. It’s so much better in person. I loved the fact that the kitchen has everything you need and more. There is even kiddie silverware. We will definitely be staying again.

The house was very clean and comfortable, great for a group with plenty of space. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfortable. Heater kept us warm and cozy along with the fireplace. WiFi works good and location close by the lake and Safeway. Good communication and response time and smooth check in.

The house is gorgeous and accommodated 8 of us. The location was convenient, near stores and a bakery. Was very easy to communicate with the property manager and they went the extra mile to accommodate us when roads closed and there was no way to get back home without being stuck in traffic for hours. We would definitely stay here again!

The views of the lake are absolutely breathtaking! The home was very clean and well cared for with many upgrades including windows and sliding doors. The kitchen appeared to be updated with newer granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. It was very well equipped to prepare meals and best of all you had a view of the lake while cooking. We enjoyed eating on the deck with the amazing view of the lake. Overall the home had lots of wonderful amenities and was exactly as advertised. Communication with Rental management was great. They were able to accommodate us and were very quick to respond by text.

Timberwood is fantastic! Very clean, comfortable and great location. 20 min to Northstar, Palisades & Alpine. CB bistro is a short drive and yummy-staff is great! You won’t regret staying here. Tahoe management was responsive, helpful and even let use check in early the day our reservation started. They also cleared the walkways and a path to both the grill and hot tub. Also important to note that the bathrooms & kitchen had nice products-not your run of the mill junk. The board games offered were also nice. We came the week after Christmas and the cute tree was still up. It really made the place feel special and cozy. The dog bed, bowls and towel to wipe your pup down when they’re wet added to the perfect details. STAY HERE!

This is a great place! We stayed for one week with four adults, a three year old, and a small dog. The highlights: the view in the main room is just as gorgeous as the pictures, the house had plenty of space for all of us to spread out when we wanted, the kitchen is well appointed (we cooked for a full week from home and had everything we needed), and the furniture in the great room is top of the line - the couches were very comfy and perfect for lounging and looking at the trees. Things to know: the bathrooms and kitchen appliances are older with a retro feel, but everything worked great, and the beds are on the firmer side. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The view from this home is absolutely amazing! The sun rises were beautiful and the deck view is shaded in the afternoon, a big plus during the summer. Also a well stocked kitchen and room for everyone to gather comfortably. If you are there during the summer, be sure to close the blinds toward the lake during early morning. The sun can really heat things up inside fast.

What an amazing view!! We had friends visiting from Belgium and wanted to show them the best of California. The cabin was perfect for both of our families. We had everything we needed to make a great dinner and have breakfast in the morning. The only downside is that we could only stay one night. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Our party of 7 had a great time in this house. The house, even though the decor is a bit outdated, everything is clean and very well maintained. The layout of the house is great for 3-4 families. The spacious garage is definitely a plus in the cold winter season. The host was available to answer our questions before and during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was clean, easy to access and had all the amenities listed. The host was very responsive and even allowed us an early checkin. The house is very close by to all the local attractions and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Definitely recommend the place if you are in the area.

A beautiful home with everything incredibly clean, organized, and in great condition. We had no problems or confusion as the home notes were very clear and available both digitally and in a binder, all amenities functioned without issue. The space was perfect for relaxing skiers, and the hot tub was sublime. Thanks for the great stay!

A group of 9 of us stayed here for the weekend and had a great time. The layout of the house is quite confusing (lots of weird turns and stairs), but the main area of the house is great for chilling. Also, if the hot tub doesn’t work, try resetting the breaker switch in the garage.

What an OASIS! From the view (unparalleled!!) to the kitchen gadgets (unexpected!) to the warm, welcoming, open spaces of the home to the comfortable beds, (warm blankets and linens too!), to the fireplace and seating area!! One day we hardly left the couch, just watched the sun move and change over the lake and the snow come and go. Booked this place to host a Thanksgiving Family Feast with all our kids meeting here - truly a GIFT in that it had almost EVERYTHING necessary (I bought a tin turkey pan to cook the turkey - but only so I could throw it out and not have to clean it!!) even a turkey baster! Absolutely blown away by the kitchen gadgets and how the kitchen was stocked!! Totally unexpected and very much appreciated! Would I stay here again??? In a heartbeat! Not only was the neighborhood quiet and residential (so we were respectful of that quiet) and grateful for the advice of two different neighbors (one for garbage) and the other for a hike (at the end of the street-through the "gate" and onto an amazing path!) The instruction manual that came with the house was extremely thorough - left nothing out so there were no gray areas and the television in the main room was great so one son could watch football all day on Thanksgiving and not miss a thing! Appreciated the snow shovel and extra salt - which with two days of snow - we used! Truly, NOTHING OVERLOOKED!!! Do yourself a favor and choose THIS rental!!

The house was perfect, exactly as advertised. One thing that was unexpected was how close it was to shops and restaurants, easily walking distance which was a huge help for us. Great location close to ski areas, casinos, and the Truckee Airport. Kitchen was well equipped and there were even a few leftovers like tea and sugar and some condiments which was helpful. Bathrooms had shampoo and soap provided, it really was a great Turn-Key rental experience. I would definitely say here again.

This is a really charming, spacious cabin with amazing views that looks quite like the pictures but is nicer in real life. The location is ideal to explore all the northern parts of Tahoe but we still got down to emerald bay in 30 mins. The place is fully equipped with everything from kitchen ware to games. Very good value, we’d stay again and hopefully will.

The cabin is cozy, clean and has all the amenities that you'll need during your stay. The view from the window was gorgeous. The entire space is way better than what the picture represents. We like to sit in front of the fireplace while soaking in the lake view. It was very relaxing. We highly recommend this place.

Great rental during the summer. We had a heat wave during out visit, but like most tahoe homes, there was no A/C but we managed by opening the windows and enjoyed the outdoors. The basement level was nice and cool. Not sure if blinds would have helped or not but most of the sleeping arrangements were on the basement floor. Lots of amenities you would expect at a rental. Despite coming in late and having issues during initial check-in, management was very responsive by phone and resolved any issues we had.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. It’s close to King’s Beach and Tahoe City. The decor is a bit dated, but now gives off a trendy retro vibe. Wifi and TVs worked great and there was space for out kids to spread out. The beds were a bit firm for our liking, but not terrible. The deck is a great place to sit and enjoy nature, and we were able to enjoy the meteor shower from there. All in all a great place that we’d definitely stay in again.

The view is what makes this cabin. It's simply breathtaking. My group was here for 4th of July weekend and the weather was gorgeous. We spent most of our time on the deck, BBQing and playing games.

The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people (assuming 2 couples in the larger size beds) - after that folks need to use pull out couches which weren't apparently super comfy.

We had no problem calling Lyfts/Ubers to this house, and there was plenty of space for our 5 cars. Quick drive to King's Beach and some great waterfront dining.

Spacious and comfortable for our family vacation. The furnishings and appliances are a bit dated, but the size, layout and location of the house more than made up for that. Steep road to get to the house - winter vacationers would be wise to take seriously the notes about all-wheel vehicles or chains. Easy access to the (gorgeous) hiking in Page Meadows and the lovely private beach.

Awesome stay! Our first time using Airbnb and we are so happy that we chose Casa del Lago. Everything needed was there, utensils, blankets, and propane for the grill. The hot tub was a great way to pass the time. Kid and family friendly, and a great view of the lake. Will definitely be coming back for Winter!

The best thing about this place is the patio view. Only drawback is that it gets a bit toasty during the day, as there is no air conditioning and the windows are exposed to the morning sun. Loved how close it was to dining and the beach! We would definitely come back

The house is awesome. Great location, really great setup inside. Great couch setup and dining table. It was also incredibly clean while being pet friendly. We didn't have a pet, but we were impressed by how clean it was. No pet hair or fur issues.
The only downside was that the hot tub display panel wasn't quite working, which made it difficult to heat.

The place was accurate to the description and management was very on top of it. The drain was slow running and then clogged on day 2 and they sent over a plumber. The owners should consider making some maintenance updates. Bathroom near kitchen toilet didn't stop. Patio doors stuck and required aggressive pressure to close. Coat racks and towel racks fell off wall. Couch was dated and beds could use an update.

A very lovely home with an amazing kitchen and a two car garage with a great Mud Room for your shoes, boots, and jackets after a day in the snow! The house is just down the street from an amazing back-country forest area for sledding, snow shoeing or cross country skiing. It snowed while we were there and the street was plowed really early in the AM, so easy to get in and out for skiing. Only note of caution: The forth bedroom is rather small and has a trundle bed with the extra mattress on the floor, you will def. not want adults to plan to use this room.

We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful Tahoe City home. It was spacious, clean, and had everything you would need. We enjoyed the hot tub (big plus for us) and the kitchen was well stocked to cook. The location is wonderful - just a short 5 minutes drive from the lake and restaurants but still feels quiet and remote. Only hiccups we had were the fireplace stopped working and the wifi wasn't strong enough to support 6 people. But, this didn't impact our stay much at all and would highly recommend choosing this location for your future trip.

This is a great little place. The outdoor sitting areas are lovely and inviting, the hot tub clean, the kitchen well stocked for all cooking needs. The location was beyond perfect for our family. We walked to the beach (easy walk), walked the hiking trail at the end of Agate making an about 2.5 mile walk (could make it more), great walking neighborhood, quiet, comfortable beds, and a location for site seeing that was easy and perfect for us. There are three restaurants you can walk to, kayaks and boards to rent at the local beach, walk to a 7-11 if needed, and the beach is one of the best dog beaches in tahoe. It was perfect for us and our pup. Close to King beach and Tahoe city shopping, close enough to get take out. Really loved sitting on the front a back porch in the morning.

The staff was easy to access and completely responsive. Check in and check out a breeze. Was a bit hot in the afternoon and evening when we were there (over 80 outside) and tough to cool down. (I understand most places in tahoe have no air cond). Learned to keep the sleeping room doors closed, and this made the sleeping rooms cool enough to sleep. Left the front door open, sliders open, and fans on to make it work.

Really glad we stayed here. Family of 4 (two tween/teen kids) and pup.

The view is fantastic during the day and night. We lost a necklace during our time at Lake Tahoe, and the rental management sent someone to the cabin to look for it after we checked out. Although we didn’t find the necklace, we really appreciate their time and help.

Fantastic place in such a special spot. We took our pups and loved exploring the area every day. Beautiful wooded view from the deck, close to several beaches and bike paths, and great food options nearby. Check in was seamless and communication was quick and easy. Would definitely stay again!

This cabin is everything you would want in a Tahoe cabin getaway. The location cannot be beat as we love Tahoe City and ski Homewood. New Moon Natural Food Store/Uncommon Kitchen was at the end of the street which was perfect for our dietary needs. The place was well-equipped with everything you would need. The master bedroom upstairs is a sleepers delight as it could be the most comfortable bed I ever slept on and will be getting my own LLBean fur comforter. The fireplace really warmed up the home nicely. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and gadgets to cook everything. The hot tub though not sure if the jets work as they wouldn’t turn on still gave us much needed muscle relaxation apres ski. Tahoe Rentals were very pleasant to work with, communicated well, and even assisted in getting my husband his belongings he forgot. I would definitely stay here in the future as it served us very well. Thanks for a great getaway for us!

Rental was great...the views were beautiful, the kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need, and they had a new leather couch. It was only 20m to Squaw ski resort and very close to the nearest supermarket. Driving around the lake was a nice way to see all sides. House has a great view and porch. Fireplace was toasty and nice. (Only cons: beds are hard, shower was really loud for the bedroom next door.)

Our stay was amazing, the house was clean, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, the living area was very nice with a wood burning gas fireplace which was awesome because it snowed so much while we were there. The hot tub was a plus for sure can't get better then sitting in a hot tub in the snow.

The neighbor across the street was very nice and helped us with the snow plow schedule letting us park in his driveway while our driveway was waiting to get plowed. We had a great weekend of skiing and it was a cozy place to come back to.

Wow! Amazing views. Great communication. Everything you need in the home is there. My wife and I stayed with our dog. The house was just Perfect. They had extra leashes, dog bowl and bed. Everything about this home was great. We cant wait to visit Tahoe again and hopefully stay here.

Can’t beat this view! The very large windows allow you to see the gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe all throughout the home! It’s truly one of a kind. We did not want to leave! The location is very convenient for multiple places in north Lake Tahoe area. We loved our stay!!

Beautiful house. Good location. The property management company is super responsive. Well-equipped kitchen. Lots of toys for the kids.

The main downside was the small upstairs bedroom. It got very hot (in June) and the single small window didn’t have a screen. We weren’t thrilled about having our baby sleep there.

Great space, excellent location, wonderful host! The space is just as described, cozy and comfy with high end amenities - nice bedding, Yeti cups, West Elm kitchen stuff. The hot tub was perfect to relax in and star gaze. The house was sparkling clean and stocked with everything we needed. All communications were pleasant and highly responsive. The location cannot be beat! I loved being able to access the trail up to Page Meadows right from the neighborhood, also easy walk to cafes and restaurants. We cant wait to stay again!

Our stay here was amazing! The cabin was very warm and comforting with all amenities offered for us. Our cabin was kept very clean and was only 15 minutes away from Squaw Valley, where we skied as a group. The property handlers were also very fast at responding to our questions and made our stay here well worth it! Thanks again!

Such a beautiful home that was very relaxing. There has clearly been a lot of care and attention to detail from the yeti cups to the cozy bedding. We also loved the location - walk ability combined with quiet and tranquil neighborhood. Tahoe mgt company was also amazing and very accommodating. It has 3 very spacious bedrooms and one smaller one with a nice backyard area.

If this home is available for your trip, you HAVE TO book it. The views from the balcony AND inside with all the picture windows are spectacular. Even the pictures don’t do it justice. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was my favorite part of the day. My husband and I booked it for a little getaway, but it’s also great for a family or small group. Highly recommend.

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful view of the lake, especially from the deck. Check in was very easy and the place spotless upon arrival. Conveniently located near several nice beaches and a grocery store, and a 15-20 minute drive to more beaches and great restaurants in Incline Village and Tahoe City. If we were to return to Tahoe, would definitely consider this house again if we were to stay in North Tahoe.

This was our second trip to this property. The view from this house is just awesome! Just minutes from great skiing. Close to groceries and lots of restaurants. The house has very vintage amenities, which only adds to the charm of it. Very quiet neighborhood. We would recommend to anyone. We of course will go back again, we just love it!

One of the best and coziest cabins! Secluded enough to feel like you’re in a winter wonderland but actually really close to town and both Northstar and Squaw. The decor was so festive and cute for the holidays and the home was filled with anything you might need during your stay. Water was hot and the heat was powerful. Couch was super comfortable and the hot tub was large and not too far from the backyard door!

Had the absolute best vacation!! This house is located in a secluded area but close to many restaurants and things to do!! The view was incredible!!!! & the windows facing the lake are so nice so you can enjoy the view while being next to the fire. We found ourselves wanting to be there for dinner every night to watch the sunset!! The kitchen is equipped with spices, oils, & foil (which I don’t see often in most air b&bs) The master bed is extremely comfortable, we felt like we had great sleep & the feather down comforter was a nice touch.

I definitely plan on returning, it was definitely everything we wanted & more!!!

Really loved everything about this place. Set up for the family is perfect. Loved the big screen tv! Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels for all! There is no air and it was hot but there were plenty of fans so we were able to keep gas fire pit out back was perfect for the end of day to sit and chill. Neighbors around but also far enough away to still have privacy. Really enjoyed! Was a bit pricey but we were all very happy staying there!

We had a great 4-day stay. There was a heat wave and the temps were in the upper 80's everyday, even in the house - the fans were a life saver. We would have loved AC, but understand that it is generally not needed in Tahoe.
We would definitely stay again; maybe this winter!

Pictures do not show some of the upgrades. This rental was super clean and had everything you could possibly want. Very close to grocery stores, dining, beach, shopping, water rentals, Bike rentals. I have 2 young children and this rental had the best toy selection that kept them entertained while we relaxed in the front patio. Definitely recommend for any family.

We really enjoyed our one night there and would definitely come back another time during the ski season or during the summer since the lake is within walking distance. The spiral staircase may be difficult to ascend for older guests but allows for excellent space utilization. Check in and out was easy. Thanks Tamara!

Well appointed and cute townhome. Had all the little amenities that make it feel like a home such as all types of kitchenware, condiments, tea, lots of towels, shampoo, games. Makes packing for these trips so much easier!

Bedrooms are all on second floor and the layout was spacious and great for our party of 6 adults/teens. The master bed was way too soft for my taste but to each their own.

The public tennis court, pickle ball courts, and swimming pools are very well maintained. There’s also a single basketball hoop in a parking lot. These are about a three minute walk away. These amenities are important for travelers with kids!

As a big townhome complex it definitely felt safe and big enough for nighttime strolls. It’s not gated but still very enclosed.

The only complaint is that the hot tub was under maintenance and that was a key reason for picking this home. Did I mention we have teens!

Communication from the owner was quick and excellent. When we realized there were no pickle ball equipment, we noticed them and it showed up at the front door soon after.

Their attention to detail shows. Would definitely come back again.

My family, pooch, and I stayed at this adorable 'cottage' (single-story family home) over the New Year's Eve time-frame and were pleasantly surprised by how well appointed the house is. The house itself is well-built and boasts great feng shui -- it's smaller than we expected but the smaller size only made things cozier and easier/faster to heat in winter. Our host Tamara was super and consistently/quickly responded to our inquiries. There's a cute trail a short drive away which we were able to take our pooch to and build snowmen; next time we'll bring a snow-saucer as well. 🙂 Honestly this was the best holiday getaway we could've asked for in a really cute home with great amenities/service. We were lucky to stay there and hope to stay again soon!
